This week really embraces my girly side which rarely ever comes out. I’m not one to wear pretty dresses or floaty chiffon pieces but the floral/paisley print on this vintage shirt just makes me feel strangely girly. I picked up this shirt from a boot sale, where I usually pick up my printed shirts, and it cost me pennies and I am completely enthralled with it. It has such a detailed gorgeous print in blues, reds and greens and is made from polyester with a satin finish which makes it look so luxurious. I put my Missguided jumpsuit over the top, that created a pinafore style which is very on trend at the moment, with my H&M boots and my vintage velvet coat. To top off this girly look I threw on my felt floppy hat and I instantly felt as if I had just stepped out of the late 60’s. Re-creating vintage looks seems to be becoming a habit without even meaning to which just shows how iconic the styles were are are today.
