Apologies everyone if I look a tad moody here but it was insanely windy and I kept getting so much hair in my mouth aha, anyway back to the post. This week I am embracing my plain wardrobe. I love mixing prints and I’m definitely more into toying with colour than before but I still have a wardrobe of plain monochrome colour schemes that are still great! I don’t believe wearing crazy colours makes you interesting but it does make you bold but everyone can be bold sometimes. I like to create interesting looks with things that most people wouldn’t bat an eyelid at so here’s my grey scale look. The top and jacket were both bought for pennies of course and the leggings and boots are from H&M. These pieces separated are probably quite dull but I love this mixture of both grey pieces that are almost the same shade with some black undertones. To add some edge to this look I wore my Phix Clothing harness underneath my sheer top with a boxy jacket over the top and some silver jewelry. I threw on my cute H&M boots and lastly put on my Diamond Supply beanie to add a street wear feel that stops the look from being too formal. I love the mix of styles in this outfit and how easy it was to put together. Next time you’re stuck on an outfit try a simple one shade base with another shade of accessories because it really works.
