This week I am indulging in the frills trend. I’m not 100% sure where this trend came from or if it’s still going but I love it!! I bought this gorgeous oversized top from Zara in the same transaction as my bronze jumpsuit (big love for Zara right now) and am head over heels for it. The sheer glittery material in a sea green colour already makes me feel like a mystical mermaid but to have these exaggerated layered sleeves is just a bonus and makes it so much fun. This top is a great piece for a night out or a fun day look so I decided to make it a transitional look where it can work for both. I paired it with some simple black jeans and some beautiful leather and suede green pointed wedges that I picked up at car boot sale. To dress it up a little all you’d have to do is add in some accessories and some lipstick and you’re done. Easy, breezy, beautiful mermaid look.
