This week I seem to have slipped back into my monochrome ensembles and it reminded why I loved and still do love it so much. The ease and class of a black and white look never fades and I believe through all the colours in my wardrobe now days they are by far the most vital.
In this look I’ve paired a figure hugging plain black knitted dress from Primark with a gorgeous sliver silk DKNY shirt that I bagged at a car boot sale. This is great way to spruce up an outfit, if you have a plain knit dress for A/W just throw on an interesting shirt over the top and it gives the look added textures and prints. I picked silver to accentuate my jewelry and the silver in my jacket. The jacket is from Tkmaxx and I am in love with it and its little details like the zips and tassels. Lastly I chose my H&M trainers as they have some flecks of silver and grey on them (and they’re comfy) as well as my rad cat eye sunglasses. I finished off this look with some simple make up and that was it. Monochrome looks may be easier and create great outfits but don’t write off your colourful pieces this winter.
