The thrifter in me is always bubbling to the surface on a day to day basis just waiting for the next amazing bargain and apparently when I am travelling it’s no different. In fact I’d say it’s on overload because it’s new territory which means new bargains and that’s exciting.
Singapore for me was new territory so of course I went out of my way to find and visit a thrift shop which was the perfect way to end my holiday. The shop I decided to visit was called New2U and it was a small, tucked away, room full of rails that was located inside the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations. This was really important to me as some of the donations went to the orginisations so I was supporting fellow women which felt great!
I bought 4 items after much deliberation and spent $28 in total which equated to roughly £16 which is about normal for me. Each item was different and something I didn’t already own and funnily enough each one is Winter wear.

Shirt – $8 / Skirt – $4

Leopard Jumper – $8 / Pink Jumper – $8
So as you can see in the first image there is obviously a clueless theme going on but I thought both items were super cute and with country chic being on trend this Autumn I couldn’t say no. The other two items were two really cool jumpers that are going to be crazy warm for the Winter. The leopard print is fairly self explanatory but the fabric feels like velvet so it’s got a luxurious ease to it and the pink is a jersey jumper dress that comes down to my shins and is just such an amazing colour! I can’t wait to style these so you can see them in a look and get the full effect of each item.
This little detour on my last day honestly made the entire holiday for me. These moments make me even more confident that shopping second hand is the way to go especially when you can give back to such important charities.
